Virtual Q & A with Gubernatorial Candidate Toby Doeden

The Tourism Coalition of South Dakota (TCSD) will be hosting a virtual Q&A session with gubernatorial candidate Toby Doeden to discuss issues impacting South Dakota’s tourism industry. The candidate has recently been quoted in the media discussing the possibility of taxing visitors and assessing fees on outdoor recreation businesses.

This session will provide tourism stakeholders with an opportunity to hear directly from the candidate about these proposals, how they might be implemented, and their potential impact on businesses, communities, and visitors.

Participants are encouraged to submit questions in advance regarding tourism, workforce, outdoor recreation, economic development, and other issues important to the visitor industry.
The discussion will be facilitated by TCSD Lobbyist Justin Smith.
